It's been over 5 years now that Denton Music Store has served Denton's musical community. During that time I've seen Denton Music Store grow from a couple of shelves in my back bedroom into a full-line retail store downtown. It's been a lot of fun, I've met a lot of great people. Thanks to everyone who supported your local music store!

Unfortunately sales are just not where they need to be to pay the bills and the recent economic slump didn't help matters any. We are officially closing up shop and will no longer be keeping retail items in stock. As of 2/28/09 we are completely out of our McKinney Street building. We do have some inventory left and would be happy to sell it to you at a great price! We are still handling instrument repairs and servicing existing rental contracts, by appointment only. If you're renting an instrument from us, rest assured that we will continue to work with you on your instrument rental and we will honor your maintenance contracts. Information will be sent to you in the mail as it becomes available. We are no longer keeping a stock of instruments for new contracts, but will be able to fill requests for upgrades for current customers.

Band directors - the time to stock up is NOW. Yes, we'll still take purchase orders. Exceptional discounts are available for items which we have in stock, some discounts may be available for items that we have to order for you.
